Martin Luther Goes to the Movies
A book reflecting on how Martin Luther and the authors of the Lutheran Book of Concord would interpret modern films, based upon their theological writings. Movies included are Field of Dreams, The Truman Show, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Troubled Water, Doubt, I Confess, Groundhog Day, It’s A Wonderful Life, and Something Wicked This Way Comes.
A Semiotic-Phenomenological Study of Users' Experiences with Digital Bibles
A qualitative study examining believers' experiences of reading digital Bibles via e-readers or apps, and comparing this with their experiences reading print Bibles. In part, the study aims to look at how readers experience the sacred in each context.
