Look for an entry I authored on Fight Sports Ministries at an online encyclopedia, the World Religion and Spirituality Project. It traces the history of the fight sports ministry phenomenon, and discusses the challenges and issues such ministries face.

What I'm teaching at VU Spring 2026
This Spring 2026, I'll be teaching CVA 145 Interpersonal and Small Group Communication, as well as supervising internships. CVA 145 introduces students to the theory and practice of human communication, focusing on one-on-one and small group contexts, as well as group presentation skills.
What I'm teaching at VU Fall 2026
This Fall 2026, I'll be teaching CVA/ENG 270 Introduction to Cinema Studies, as well as CVA251 Studio Television Production. The first course teaches film appreciation and criticism through screenings of movies from various eras, genres, nations and directors. The second introduces students to the TV studio environment, including its equipment, roles and production procedures. Student create talk shows, comedy sketches, newscasts, and their own final project.

Valpo Boxing Club's schedule
The Valpo Boxing Club has been on hiatus during the Fall 2025 semester, but plans to return with new student club leadership in the Spring 2026 semester, when it will continue to train students in the techniques of boxing.
