Article on digital Bible reading coming
My article, "The Presence of the Digital Word: A Semiotic Phenomenological Study of Users' Experience with Print and Digital Bibles," has been accepted for publication in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of Religion, Media and Digital Culture.
Encyclopedia entry: Fight Sports Ministries
I have been invited to author an encyclopedia entry on Fight Sports Ministries for an online encyclopedia of religions. It will trace the history of the phenomenon, as well as discuss the challenges and issues such ministries face. The project is in development, and I plan to have it completed by the Summer of 2025.

What I'm teaching at VU Fall 2025
This Fall 2025, I'll be teaching CVA 290-A, an online class, titled Faith on Film and Television. How is faith portrayed on television and in the movies? This class will look at how people of faith, and faith itself, are presented on both the big and small screens. I'll also be supervising internships.

What I'm teaching at VU Spring 2026
This Spring 2026, I'll be teaching CVA 145 Interpersonal and Small Group Communication, as well as supervising internships.
